This policy explains what information Pub Atlas collects through this website (pubatlas.co.uk) and our pre-launch waiting list, and how we use it. Pub Atlas is currently in development — once the app itself launches, this policy will be extended to cover the app's own data collection.

What we collect

When you join the waiting list, we collect the email address you provide. Our form provider, Formspree, may also automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and spam prevention. We don't ask for or collect anything beyond this on the website.

How we use it

We use your email address solely to notify you when Pub Atlas launches, and to send occasional updates about the app's progress before then. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-party services

We use Formspree to process waiting-list submissions, and standard web hosting services to serve this site. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

Legal basis and your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), we rely on your consent — given when you submit the waiting-list form — as the legal basis for using your email address. You have the right to:

• ask what information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• withdraw your consent at any time (for example, by asking to be removed from the waiting list); and
• complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we haven't handled your data properly.

How long we keep it

We keep waiting-list email addresses until Pub Atlas launches and initial launch communications are complete, or until you ask us to delete your data, whichever happens first.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall visits and page views to this site. It's a privacy-first, cookieless service — it doesn't use tracking scripts that identify you individually, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't store any personal data about you.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website and app evolve. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
